Diana Krall (English)

If you know me, you already know that I am as happy as can be because I'll be attending Diana Krall's concert in Brasilia next week. I mean, she is an icon of the contemporary Jazz! She is very talented indeed: those contralto vocals are incredible and she has been playing the piano since she was four! Here in Brazil, some may not know her name, but everyone knows her songs as they are in the soundtracks of many popular national soap operas. Plus, she's got a thing for Bossa Nova! Her 9th CD, entitled "Quiet Nights", has got 4 of the most popular Brazilian songs. Oh, and her DVD was recorded in dazzling Rio de Janeiro. Could it be any better?

By the way, I LOVE watching this other video of Diana performing "Fly me to the Moon". Not only because it is a classic, but also for the way she plays the piano and sings the song. Always makes me smile. Definitely worth watching.
